AI INSURABILITY EVIDENCE PACK
That is not a criticism. Agents arrive through assistant rollouts, developer tooling, vendor integrations and people solving real problems with whatever works. The AI Exposure Review answers one question in days: what are we actually running, and what can it do.
YOUR RENEWAL IS THE ONE DEADLINE THAT ARRIVES EVERY YEAR WITHOUT FAIL.
DEFINITION
WHAT THE PACK CONTAINS
Insurers began making generative AI exclusion endorsements available to carriers from 1 January 2026. Cyber carriers are reported to be applying sublimits in the region of 10% of policy limits rather than full exclusions. Whether an endorsement is attached, and on what terms, increasingly turns on documented AI governance. Documented is the operative word. Not intended. Not in progress. Evidenced, dated, and capable of surviving a question.
- Agent inventory, with an owner named against each agent.
- Identity and access controls for non-human identities, and how actions are attributed.
- Human oversight and override mechanisms, described and evidenced as exercised rather than as designed.
- Monitoring evidence, showing what is watched and what triggers a response.
- Third-party AI vendor risk assessment, covering the operators processing on your behalf.
- Adversarial testing results. The hardest item on a broker’s list to produce, and the one that most clearly separates a governed estate from a documented intention.
- A dated attestation, written to be handed over without editing.
WHY TESTING RESULTS CARRY THE PACK
A broker can read a policy in ninety seconds and discount it in ninety-one. Policies are cheap to write.
Evidence that an independent party attacked your agents, found specific things, and that you closed them, is expensive to fake and easy to verify. It is the item in the pack that changes the underwriting conversation rather than filling a form.
We build the pack to land four to six weeks before your renewal date, so there is room to remediate anything it exposes rather than disclosing it under time pressure.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
FAQ
Will this reduce our premium?
We cannot promise a premium outcome and you should treat anyone who does with caution. Underwriting decisions sit with your carrier. What we can do is ensure the questions they ask have documented, dated answers, which is the difference between a negotiated position and a default one.
Do you deal with our broker directly?
If you want us to. Many clients prefer us to present the technical evidence in a joint session so the broker can ask questions directly of the person who ran the testing.
